About Our NYC Water Damage Network
No invented history and no stock-photo team — here is exactly how this service works.

What happens when you call
Water Damage Restoration New York is a referral service for water damage restoration in New York City. When you call +1 (315) 267-1046, your call is answered during posted hours (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM ET, 7 days a week) and routed to an available partner contractor serving your borough. The person you speak with takes the essentials — what happened, where, your building type — and dispatches or schedules accordingly. Calls answered 7am–10pm ET daily. Overnight requests are called back first thing in the morning.
Who does the work
The work itself is performed by independent local restoration companies — the partners — not by this website. Before a partner receives calls, we verify:
- General liability insurance and workers' compensation, current and in force
- A New York State mold remediation contractor license for any partner taking mold work
- An NYC DCWP Home Improvement Contractor license for repair and rebuild work
- IICRC-certified technicians on staff for water damage work
License and certificate numbers are published on this site only after each partner's documents are verified — and only with that partner's consent. Until then, this site makes no license claims. That is a deliberate choice, and it is why you will not find badges, license numbers, star ratings or "25 years of excellence" claims here: nothing on this site is fabricated, and anything you do see can be checked.
How the money works
You pay the partner contractor for the work they perform, under the written scope they give you. The contractor pays this service for the referral. The call itself costs you nothing, and the pricing ranges published on the cost page come from public cost guides — not from an interest in inflating your estimate.
Where we operate
Service covers all five NYC boroughs:
This site operates as a service-area business: there is no showroom and no invented office address in the schema or on the contact page, because there is no walk-in location to send you to. Everything starts with the phone call.
Why the site looks the way it does
The content here is written for New York buildings — pre-war plaster, co-op boards, basement apartments, freeze-thaw bursts — because generic national advice fails NYC homes. Prices are published as ranges with sources and a review date. Questions of insurance coverage and legal responsibility are answered with general information and a pointer to official sources, never with advice we are not licensed to give. If something on this site is wrong or outdated, the contact page is the fastest way to get it fixed.
